I bought the car in 2000 from the original owner, who had only put about 3400 miles on it in the 9 years he had it. I drove it from his home in Manhattan down to Pennsylvania on the day everyone was leaving the island for the 4th of July weekend. Needless to say, it was a harrowing experience getting it home. The trip, which under normal circumstances would take 90 minutes, took about 3 hours. The BRG survived that trip, and continues to do well to this day.
