I was just wondering if anyone out there knows were to get new or used interior pieces for a 93 LE. I was looking for the boot for the top. even though my whole interior needs work. I just hate driving with my top down and seeing the top folded up behind me.

Hi, Mike. There are periodically some LE pieces up for sale on EBay and on Craigslist. Of course you can also have some people from the LE community part out theirrs in the unfortunate event of an accident the car cannot recover from.
I believe that is about the extent of their availability...

The Mazda dealer here was helpful and able to identify some LE parts for me:
ROSENTHAL MAZDA - ARLINGTON
750 NORTH GLEBE ROAD
ARLINGTON, VA 22203
Phone: 703-527-3000
The armrest/doorpull costs $46 and the ordering code is BF70-69370C18.

For a while, Robbins was making replacement boots that were close to the red but not sure if they still do or not.

Robbins is a convertible top company. I had to replace my top and chose a Robbins Sunfast Cloth.
Anywho, look above... some items you might want?

I checked out the mats and knob... There is no way i can spend that much $ on that stuff.
I will just stick with the worn out stuff I have for now. But thank you for looking out for me.

No problem.
What exactly do you need? There could at least be some form of restoration solution you can look into.

Well to start with it would appear that I need more money lol. I sometimes wish it wasn't an LE. I want to replace the carpet, seats, and I am missing the boot that hides the top when down. I have since pulled the factory radio out so know one breaks in the car for it cause i leave it outside all the time. ( wifes truck is in the garage ) I want to change to low pro headlights the motor is weak I would like to turbo it, the list goes on and on.....

Is the cover to your MSSS intact?

There is a guy on m.net that did diy post on dying his interior on his le!
Here is his thread on the building of his LE. So much information on restoring a le.
http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=395815
The restoring starts on page four. That thread is by far the best Le restore thread i have ever seen. HE explains so much about the colors and such and his process he is really detailed. I would suggest that thread to every Le persons.
