I suggest we need a 93 LE wiki to consolidate the information we learn about the 93 LE to minimize information getting lost and people having to scroll through years of messages to find something simple. :)

A good idea, but we can also simply sticky important threads within the forum section. Right now, I don't have the resources to add a Wiki on top of everything else I'm trying to get done.

There is a wiki over on the NSX forum and while helpful, doesn't begin to compare to the garage section at miata.net. It seems like a lot of half-baked information gets posted to the wiki without anyone ever reviewing it until someone finally takes exception to it and tries to correct it. Gary monitors what goes into the garage and into the stickies and even though he takes no responsibility for content, I know for a fact he's asked members to look at particular articles for accuracy.

Some people are going to have to step forward and volunteer to become moderators over here once this gets rolling, especially if other special edition owners get their sections up and running.

I can see I'm going to have to start all over with post counts but I notice the zookeeper only has 106 so maybe I can pass him :D

Tom, that's the problem. They just implemented a Wiki on the military vehicle forum I'm on, and it's no better than the forum at large. Some people want to use it as a clearinghouse for all the info that they can cram into it, which just serves to dilute the really important stuff. And plenty of the information in the Wiki (or suggested for the Wiki) is incorrect, or in the case of the trucks like mine that are 98% civilian, it's stuff like part numbers for waterpumps that are completely useless, since any auto parts store can look up the waterpump for a diesel K30. This would be like having a '93LE Wiki and filling it with stuff like how to do a timing belt change on a 1.6L Miata- which is the same for ANY 1.6L Miata. Personally I'm partial to a "garage" type setup where the articles pass through some sort of review process.
