Very nice! What's that little script behind the drivers rear wheel?

The stripes are painted on and cleared over. That little script is her name, Madeleine.

Special deal? What would it have been normally? I've been toying around with new paint on my LE since it's been peppered pretty well from gravel roads and such. I was thinking $2500 would provide a fairly nice single stage black.

I had a few price quotes ranging from 3k to 5k for what I had done! My Son-in-laws Uncle did it for me. His specialty is custum bikes and street rods. His business was slow. He smoothed the body; a lot of small dents and dings; base coat, painted stripes and several coats of clear wet sanded between each. If you want a nice single stage black you could probably get it done for 2500.

Wow. Sounds like he gave you the works. Nice job.

Single stage black is how I will go. I don't mind clear coats but I found that putting mine next to an NB you can tell the 'depth' of the single stage black is better than the clear of the NB. Even the NB owner, after clay barring, polishing, waxing and finishing admitted that one ;)

looks really nice, and the script name is a nice touch - I don't know if i'd be any where near that gravel/dirt road with that beautiful new paint though :)

I'd seriously consider a 3M clear bra. I've heard nothing but good about them.
